Single, Two or Three Feed, Circular Weft Knitting Machines
The LX96 and WK6 are designed to knit tubular jersey materials in sizes between 1/4" to 3.5". These machines incorporate components required to knit wire mesh and materials over 1.25 inches wide. The WK6 is a single feed machine, while the LX96 is available as a single feed OR as a two or three feed machine. The LX96 can be used to knit either round or tubular flat, single or multi-color materials as well as for knitting simultaneously around a core (filler material). The LX96 and WK6 are primarily used in industrial applications, such as filtration, hose reinforcement and gasketing.
Needle System:
Latch needle on single cylinder and single cam track system. Both models operate using a stationary cylinder and take-down with revolving cams, yarn feeds and yarn packages. Special hi-lo butt needle / two track cam system versions are also available.Cylinder Sizes:
Working diameters from .5" - 3.5" [12 to 100 mm], needle gauges from 3 to 24 needles per inch.Operating Speeds:
300 to 800 cpm {dependent on needle gauge of machine}.Application:
Tubular textile or wire materials, solid or multi color, coarse, medium, and fine gauge, with or without a core, in sizes ranging from 1/2" [12 mm] to 3.5" [100mm] at rates of 50 to 150 yards per hour.Options:
